Things to Do
The Hollywood Caribbean Resort is centrally located from the many wonderful things South Florida has to offer. Just outside our doorstep you can stroll the beautiful 3 mile Broadwalk (pictured above) with it's many restaurants and shops. There is also Charnow Park, a fabulous water park for the kids. Florida's tropical paradise offers water sports, such as skiing, sailing, deep-sea fishing and canoeing. In addition there is paddle-ball, golf or tennis nearby. Should you prefer spectator sports, South Florida is home to the Miami Dolphins football team, the Miami Heat basketball, the Florida Marlins baseball and the Florida Panthers hockey team.
If shopping is your sport, you are also in luck. The Village at Gulfstream Park offers a wide variety of shopping and restaurants from fashion to home furnishings, cafes and nightlife. Aventura Mall is also nearby and home to major department stores such as Bloomingdale's and Macy's and hundreds of famous boutiques and restaurants. Sawgrass Mills is one of America's largest Outlet Malls with over 270 shops and great bargains. And you won't want to miss Las Olas Boulevard in downtown Ft. Lauderdale with it's European flair, outdoor cafes, boutiques and galleries.
